Hey there!!
I'm suprised @ all these comments!
Anyway what i'm really here to say is that, well, I think that we shouldn't use chat rooms either because, although I would like to, I'm not allowed to use them either!
But however, I think that all the ideas for using cell phones in class are great!!! I have an example for Amal's first idea; for the petals around the rose activity, instead of people hearing our answer, we could txt Mr Woody!! lol! Aren't i just
F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S?
C YA L8ER!!!

Good idea Mimi - chat room use woudl be designed to be self-contained at school to be 'safe'. even here it is important you don't give out any personal details.
regarding your txting idea - well done - sounds like a good application for something we have done in class.
C u @ school!
I rekon we could have a ipod N da room. U culd put som msic on 2 let us relx!

Hello Rm 9! I think that all these ideas are great! Also, I reckon that Txting would be good for teachers as well-if they needed to talk to someone, they could just txt them! Also, teachers would not have to send students to other rooms, and as for the student informer, well, it could be sent to everyone's cellphones instead. But the down side is, you would have to know everyone's numbers. Also, people could cheat at tests by txting, and say nasty things behind other's backs. Keep up the gr8 work!
P.S. Do know who I am? Put it on the blog if you think you know. Meow!!!!!!
Oh by the way, that's meant to be Do YOU know who I am. Sorry!
Could it be Miss P?
hmmm.... i don't think miss p would choose catgirl as a name, but she has a link to this site and catgirl uses correct spelling and grammar, therefore it can't be a student..
LOL
Catgirl is in the year 7 GATE class this year. Meow!
Good call on the basics, Tonks, but i didn't understand your auror comment...

D.A.D.A stands 4 Defence Againts the Dark Arts, doesn't it tonks55?
good ideas for using the blogs you lot. lets leave the identity guessing off the site as it is gettting clogged up by it.
secret info:
if you post on your own blog, i can leave clues there for you. no post - no clues.
Interesting point Magster. Maybe we could contact telecom for some cheap deal on texting.
