Mammoths, Cyclists and Mental Toughness

See info on a baby mammoth that has been found...

Have you heard of Le Tour - the Tour de France ? It is cycling's greatest race and we have one Kiwi rider in it. The race has lessons we could learn from it about team work, mental toughness and not giving up.

Mental toughness? What is it? Why is it important and who do you know who exhibits it as a powerful personal trait for success?

I think it will be a key element in the Rugby World Cup - can we beat the Australians? They have such self belief!

"Believing in yourself is not only the key to life, but the key for forever" Kitty Kat.
It is so important to belive i yourself.
The only thing to watch is Vanity and also Never Giving up.
We need to look further than the bare eye, look nto our minds and dig for the answer. Beleve we can find it.

Hey! It's catgirl! R. Bromell! Visit my blog!
Did you know the Tour de France is being held in England this year? It's the Tour de FRANCE. And they're holding it on the other side of the English channel, which holds the Chunnel.
It's pretty cool that thet found that mammoth. It's amazing that the natural Earth can preserve stuff so well.
Teamwork and not giving up are pretty important values. Mental toughness is sometimes okay, but insensitivity isn't. It's better to be honest than hide inside yourself (unless it's about who you like, because someone might let slip...)
So, see you round!

no stress if science isn't your thing though. so long as you give it your best shot and shine in some other area.

That mammoth was freaky. But it would be cool if they could clone it.

Kitty Kat said...

Yeah that wouldbe good

Cloning a frozen mammoth might be weird, also the fact that it's DEAD might make cloning a little awkwards. But I think that the cloning incident with Dolly the sheep was a bit interesting...
I am Rebecca B in Mr. Jones' class for those who are confused. Oh and could you please take a look at your punctuation? There were a few problems...I don't mean to sound high-and-mighty or anything...
