film makers?

Are any of you budding film makers?
Please post your ideas for potential storylines or scripts - we will only be able to make short films. Ideas with a twist would be best.
What do you think?
A lack of interest will result in a lack of film making action.

Mr Woody, if you are going to change the topic from our class from helping and protecting the invroment to a topic were it is easy for students to muck around and what will happen to the poor trees that are dying and not getting planted???

good call sabor - i suggest we have an environmental sub- committee that takes charge of investigating the planting of the trees around the school - mostly finding out which trees really were present in the waikato pre- european 'modification' of the land and what conditions they like to live in - as well as a group dedicated to investigating frog relocation - field trip included.
a team could also plan and make an enviro documentary. i woudl be keen to help in all those projects. we could get the non-enviro folk to make the other short films.

i rekcon we should lik make a "thriller" movie, lik the matrix... we are not what we think....! the problem could be about clones, robots or some spirit...

Ps: i want to be an actor when I grow up! ive done three musicals, lion and the witch, snow white and beuty and da beast, i only did the singing parts though! =(
i'd lik to do 1 of the acting parts

yes brainy - group work for sure.
best group will get to film in the studio.
ranna - sasha will talk to you about directing. she is a director and has been in international film making competitions.
good point ash and well linked to other people's comments.
fair enough lakelane.
ernie - the one thing we will need to understand is that we have limited time and resources. i likew your idea but it may be too ambitious. altough, cam in rm 11 can add light sabre effects in post preduction.

Its a great program and very helpful!

I'm the script writer for my group. And I don't think many people apreciate how hard it is to write one! They don't like it so they tell you to write a whole new one. The next day, you haven't finished it and they get angry with you! I'd like to see THEM do any better! Anyway, after my ranting and raving, I have decided that we should be able to do at least some enviromental work as well as the mini movies! How hard could that be? Plant a few trees here. Protest a little over there. Simple! (i hope!)
