I think it's an art AND a science. I think it's an art because it is hard and people are always thinking up new ways of making it look really good or realistic. I think it's a science because you would have to work it out before you started off and because it's so complex. If any of that doesn't really seem like explaining it to you, well, it was hard to put into words, ok?

I think it is art because its mainly used for decorations. It used for promblem solving like the air bags.

Good point Dan. I think of it mainly as an art that uses math. But, when you think about it, pretty much all art uses math. When you are painting someone, you're judging all their proportions, aren't you? Math! Shame I'm not actually much of a fan of it, huh?

Boo hoo, why does maths have to be included in everything in life, why????? What if life had no maths, how would we survive??

I think its a mixture of both because if u know nothing about about science then it will be harder to remeber how to fold and if your not the most talented artisit it might be harder for you to fold straight lines and be creative with your origami! But like dan said it also has alot to do with math!

well i disagre with laffydaffy, it is both. becose you have the art in the decoration part, but you also have measuring and estamaition.
p.s. sorry for eny spelling problems.

they did mean angles, you semi- literate eejits. they spelt it wrong and wrote 'angels', which are the little wingy harp playing dudes who float around heaven.
