Banking in Room 9 is designed to help you to moderate your own behaviour, to some extent, and to give you choices, creative outlets and to hav efun. However, it is also designed to offer you a chance to experience basic accounting or 'book keeping' and especially to help you learn to use spreadsheet software like Microdsoft Excel. [- this is convenient because we have it, but it's not the only option by any means.]
Please post your opinions about the banking process, new ideas for income or expenditure, marketing ploys you might use to entice customers ... has anyone thought of ways to use blogger to market their bank to the class?

I think the idea is sweet, but zuzu, what if some people are being GOOD and you charge them? It's not really that fair. I reckon that each bank should make a blog under one of the bank's owner's usernames (are the apostrophies and 's'es right?)so people can ask stuff after school.
And what the heck are 'WAIKATOS'?
Meover and Meout.
Excellent idea ZUZU - I agree.
Fair point catgirl, but I want you all to learn to keep each other inline.
New Bankers - well done - we will visit your bank to see what services you offer...
if you go into negative numbers for your bank account, it is called being in overdraft. you need to agree with your bank that this is allowed. there is a fee the bank can charge for overdrafts. if in overdraft, it is like being on detention and you will be on bins or litter patrol without payment until you are out of overdraft.
ncie marketing blurb, magster - i think you deserve a bonus payment.
Isn't this blog no spamming? I think a few of these didn't even give any ideas, they were just ads. I think that you should be allowed to pay money in a lump sum payment (eg. $5 a week in comparison to $1 a day). That way you can have enough money to pay off your debts instead of struggling for dollars every day.
I have tried to set up a blog for M 'n' M's insurance but my firefox isn't working, and internet won't work so....
I will have to make one at home.
Ugh! it is soooooo frustrating!
