i also think mitchell would of done very well if he hadn't broken his arm. oh well it isn't anybody's fault, right? hey congrats to the people who did the swimming thingy. it was really exciting! i liked the relays best because we did great! i came 4th in the year7 B grade girls breastroke (why does everything have to have a long name?). and i was in the year7 B grade girls relay. yay we came first! i love our class don't you?
prim:P
PS
yay i am the first to leave a comment, i think...
wonderful comments prim - i love our class too. i think it will be a very special year - we must be careful not to allow things like what happened today between some of the girls to sour our wonderful exeperience - everyone be kind, thoughtful and we WILL be the most amazing class...
i think we should set up a mediation team who intervene when tensions rise - everything can be calmed down and sorted out with care and kindness.
you children really are very special. let's achieve something great this year...

p.s. yes - mitchell would have made us so proud - but then, so did those of you who raced.
wasn't it great winning those yr 7 relays with our room5ians in the pool!???!!

we also set up a mediation team in my previous school and it has been going on for a while.
yes, mediaters would be good...or a school counciler like my dad!! :3)
hmm well done to anyone who raced but also well done to anyone who didn't as we didn't get a choice whether we raced or not......well done to anyone who entered any event of the kakepuku swimming sports!!!! yes poor mitchel! anyone else who didn't swim because they where sick or ingured it really didn't matter as you guys were the backbone......the supporters!!!!!!
also should we say names of people on our blog?
kittykat - it is okay to say people's first names only.
your dad was an excellent addition to our school and we have all missed him since he left. he really was a very important person who we really need back but sadly schools and the government don't want to [or can't] spend money directly on things that benefit children in need. [just my opinion]
sadly schools are run on the basis of trying to please the majority and make a good impression so they can get people through the door to get funding. it all pretty much doesn't make sense... if you ask me. but what do i know....
well done prim
do you like the beagle
i think the beagle is cool! thanks for the comment.
Hang on, who was kittykat's dad??
Sounds like you little water rats did good. I remember last year they made me drop some races because they said I was doing too many. And I had to do the 25m Butterfly with the year 8's because no other year 7 girls entered! There was a student counciler last year? Did he help with... er... *cough-cough* those girls...?(that was soooooooooo sad. I, umm, got a little involved too...)
Gwe Lee
Urxan the Almighty
Kitties of Doom 4 Life
Whatever
The Beagle is cute... He reminds me of my dog. We think he was part Beagle. You can see his sad story on my blog...
the counsellor was a few years ago. he was a nice person to talk to about any problems you had and he was trained to know how to help.
as for last year, best left as a bad memory. apart from all the cool stuff of course!
yay! go everybody!
(especially us)
