statistics week three

This week we are going to record what we eat to see if we can work out if we are poisoning ourselves by eating dodgy food.
Are we eating as healthily as our parents did when they were wee little tykes our age?
Is convenience food robbing us of good nutrition?

We are doing a level three statistical investigation:
-gathering, sorting and displaying data.
-identifying patterns and trends

We are developing statistical literacy:
-evaluating the effectiveness of different displays in representing the findings of our statistical enquiry.

I think it is a very good idea Mr.Woody, because usually when people are eating bad food they don't usually realise what they are eating and how much they are eating.

you guys are very lucky to had mr woody! I reckon that a main problem with food is that people eat white bread not brown, bleached flour not straight, too much sugar, too much salt, not enough fruit, not enough vegetables.
hmmmm.....

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT, DEAR MARZBARZ. IT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH ME. I SIMPLY NEED TO EDUCATE YOU STUDENTS ABOUT HEALTHY EATING AS PART OF THE CURRICULUM AND BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND WELLBEING - IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT TO EAT HEALTHILY WHEN YOU ARE GROWING SOOOOO MUCH.

wholegrains retain more nutritional goodness than heavily refined carbohydrates, like white flower and white sugar. its better to eat whole foods = more goodness, happier body and mind.
