Last year the school chose to chop down half of our beautiful trees, including a famous old elm tree -the oldest one of its type in Hamilton... apparently. Now the school is boldly planning to wastify the existing native garden by our classroom, plus the very special designer water feature which is based on the ground-breaking scienitific ideas of Nikolai Tesla - a great thinker and inventor. They plan to do this to build the new canteen in its place. Personally i think this is pure evil and must be stopped. It is unnecessary and could be placed eslewhere. In fact, people from Mr Ccck's class have already suggested another more sensible plan. Can you come up with anything interesting? It must be practical for the school to consider it.
Would you actually like a nice place to sit and eat? Consider shelter from wind, sun, rain, beauty of surroundings, environmental issues like replanting of natives, bird attraction, litter issues, etc....

keep the plants and stuff! thats wat i think! i rekon the spare room/esol room is a great place to put the canteen, they could also place it by the staff room, like theres a spare grassy place.
o yea.... y isnt the water feature on?
I think they should keep the plants and put the canteen by the staffroom because because there is a grassy place and it's in the middle of the school.Anyways, why is the water feature there if no one uses it???
!@#$bubbles!@#$
Why don't they just put it somewhere else? Hmm.. ernesty.. by the grassy place is the red wall. Why would we want to look at all the people who've been bad? But that is a good place, sort of hidden!
The water feature is so cool, but it woulod be better if it was on! PLus, it makes a great photo! leave it alone!
We also should not take away the native plants because they are prt of our school community, and remind us that there is sunch a place as the bush!
Hey Everybody! I can't think of any new ideas yet, but I only just finished reading everything so I'm bound to think of something sooner or later. Preferably sooner than later, but, yea. I think the near the staff room would be good, but would it fit? Personally, if you want a good canteen, I don't think the new canteen will fit inside the grass area. I mean it is pretty small. But anyway, I think we should keep the trees because their really old/pretty/fun to look at, so we shouldn't chop them down.

P.S. yes I have heard the band and it sounds pretty good. not excellent, but still better than I could ever do! I think it's cool how you guys have stuck to this thing. Yay for you!
Those little-
I mean, gosh, those people are silly, don't you think? Keep the fountain, keep the plants, infact, plant more! PUT. THE. CANTEEN. SOMEWHERE. ELSE. That simple enough for you?
Gwe Lee =D
well done you lot - good on you for expressing your opinions.
i think it should go on the field beside room 11, facing the field and with a fenced eating area with nice pants, trees, a fountain and comfy seats.
we could design it for maths.
sabor - good thinking - the swampy area should be planted with wetland plants. very observant - you should be an enviro rep next year. i insist! logan too.
