my great uncle - i went to his funeral today. i sat with my other great uncle and my grandad - colin's other brother - wasn't there as he is sick. he is my closest male role model in many ways. it makes you think....but not when you're in yr 78>)
he is in a better place now
Incredibly sad, but really snaps things into prospective, hey?Sorry for your loss,Urxan
oh. did you cry? just wondering. not trying to be rude or anything!
i must admit, it was very moving when colin's daughter, robin, spoke.
i feel sad now.......wa. (get ready for off the subject!!!) but talking about sad, have you seen or heard of the movie, Edward Scissorhands? (told you it'd be off topic!) but if not sorry to disturb you. :[ i lost my great aunt betty the day after i had met her for the first time! :[ oh well, you need to carry on, life doesn't end for you just because it has ended for a loved one.....(i thought of that myself!)
How are you coping?

I have one pair of grandparents, but I dont't see them very often. Otherwise, they are the only "old" relatives that I have.
Alison and Alan are still very young. They are also amazing people. That Alison is a champion! I have had some of the best experiences of my life because of that special lady. Treasure them! You'r also very lucky to experience the coromandel peninsula the way you do - it is one of the greatest places on Earth, I reckon.8>)
