WOW!

WOW! you guys are so cool - poetry blogs, secret rulers of the earth masquerading as school children, lovers of birds... now i must discover what your totem tree is...

i think mine is the kauri, or pohutukawa, or cabbage tree. puriri rock as well. did you know, they only survive if kereru eat their berries then poop them out?

natives are best!

I don't know what tree I am, but i like phutukawa trees, so yeah, am i that?

i should explain - what i really mean is which tree would you pick to signify you? or, even more simply, which native tree do you like or identify with the most?

I can't tell what tree I am, I have never thought about it at all. Although trees may have a certain 'character' I can't think of one that would fit my character.

I would like to be a Kaori tree because they live for ages and grow to be the biggest tree in the new zealand forest.
