A class in Napier wants to skype us and use Voicethread [remember the thing we saw in class with the small boy who shared his monster pictures and where people left comments about them? That was Voicethread]. Their teacher, Chrissy Hellyer, [who is a Sagittarian and they are the best kind of person] and I thought maybe a photography competition might be fun. But perhaps you might come up with other ideas that tickle your fancy.

What a great idea HamilTRON! We don't really know much about Podcasting but we would be willing to give it a try!

I LURVE the voice thread idea. It is better than all the other ones, because all the podcasts I have seen have funny squiggles and no pictures. We could have pictures like those cards that little boy had! ^_^ He was cute!
Who;s "The little boy with the cards"??? Maybe the photo comps could be relating to the inquiry study and do photos of our city!!!

Yeah, good idea rosiegal! I think that if we have a photography comp we should definitely have a topic/theme.

I've got a idea.
With sending Mr Teehan's class a Podcasts we can say how we say things. Like in America they say Fizzy Drink "Sodacan" and they say Autumn "Fall" and they call Lollipops "Suckers"
It's like going to a New Zelalnd Dairy and saying can I have 5 suckers!!!
I'm gonna start that podcasts no matter what!!!

I think a photography competition would be very fun.
A few photography tricks would come in handy. Few things like shutter speed and aperture size-key tips for your photo to be the best. A few other minor things like camera lens thickness, delay between shots, etc won't be as important.
Or will it?
