Who would like their blog showcased?

At Ulearn09 I will be running a workshop on how to get people like you [squiddlers, kidlets, students, Room5ians - whatever it is you're called] to write brilliantly online through blogging :-)
I need some quality bloggers to volunteer to have their blogs showcased. You can even recommend one of your peers if you like.
Let's see if you guys have superior blogs to the Woodmonstas...

Samuel Morse's birthday

Morse Code - can you use it? I challenge the inventor centre types to make a morse code machine with an audible, electronically generated signal.
Then you have to learn Morse code and demonstrate your ability to say, "Ha ha, Mr Woody - See? I did it!"

Poetry competition

Today we learnt about Haiku.
How many syllables.
How many lines?
What are they usually about?
From which culture do they originate?

Here is an example Snowy and Savvy wrote in class after school. It's really brilliant...

Roses are red-ish
Violets are blue-ish
but who really cares?

Okay - so this isn't a very good example. Perhaps yr 7's can't write good poetry.
Can you prove me wrong?

5,000,000 hit challenge

Hey kids - try this out. Watch this guy's video on Utube and then create your own video, post it and see who can get the most hits. Sound easy? You will have to come up with an idea that really grabs the imagination and attention of a potential worldwide audience.

Is anybody up for it? Make some magic happen...
